History

Grupo Espacio Industrial emerged as a result of joining the entrepreneurial effort that started in 1974 of several companies to offer integral manufacturing solutions and complementary services for the industrial sector, thanks to its capabilities in wire harnesses manufacturing and integration of mechatronic systems & equipment ; and due to its openness towards diversification and acquisition of other new skills.

Creation of the original wire harness company, which years later will lead to ICM.

Founding of Anpel, S.A.L. The first company of the Group, to manufacture and repair of electric motors. Located in Aranjuez, Madrid, Spain, and consisting of 5 people.

Founding of Técnica de Mantenimiento Temansa, S.L, to offer maintenance services to the transport sector. And the inauguration of the new facilities of Electronica Aranjuez.

Implementation of the ERP SAP system, a powerful program for managing business resources.

Creation of a Unified Management Centre for all Group companies.

Segregation of maintenance companies with criteria of territorial decentralization in order to offer a more personalized service in each area.

Implementation of Global Modelling and Assimilation Office (GMAO), a complete maintenance management of all types of software, equipment and facilities managed by the companies of the Maintenance Business Unit.

Establishment of MES (Manufacturing Execution Systems), to monitor the production processes as well as the manual or automatic work of reports and the tasks carried out in the factory.

Start-up of the CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) activity, by adhering to the ten principles of the United Nations Global Compact, an international initiative that constitutes the practical framework for developing, implementing and disseminating policies and practices of business sustainability.

Achievement of the ISO 14000-2004 certification which guarantees the application of a control system for the impacts of the activities, products and services of the companies of the Group on the environment.

Integral de Conexión y Montajes, S.L. (ICM) becomes part of the Group, allowing us to join forces to face new challenges and successfully achieve set goals.
